Cobblestone

Thought I'd show you a glimpse of some European features in Pardubice such as the cobblestone streets!! I love how pretty it looks and how it represent history. However, it's quite the challenge in a pair of high heels....Trust me!

I'm so use to paved asphalt which cracks and erodes away from heavy traffic and winter. I can't imagine fixing these streets. They repair the old fashion way, placed and arranged by hand. That's hard work!

This quaint street below is ours!!!
Yup, we live on this charming cobblestone street (above & below)!!
Our car makes lots of noise when driving over this type of paving. Another thing I noticed, people here have AMAZING strollers for their babies. I'm not kidding you... Big wheels... it's like Cadillacs!!
The shot below is our cross street. It takes your all the way down to the rink. All kinds of stores (clothing, flower, electronics, restaurants, pharmacy, etc...) I love the trees on this street but don't get me wrong, I miss my Florida Palm Trees ;)
The shot (below) is the far view from our apt window. It's our parking area. I know, it's boring but I still thought I'd share it with you. Now, this picture (below) is the view of our backyard!! Isn't it cute?! It's actually a Mexican restaurant so you can imagine the smell around here ~ so yummy!Well, hope you enjoyed it!!

The far view from your apt window... my mom works right there in the building you're looking at, haha. It's a nice part of the town.

Ha Ha Moni, we can just link arms when we are walking in our heels and if the boys are there we can just grab on to them ha ha ha. Once the snow comes the boots will be easier. lol
