Fall Cleaning

If you've been following my blog, you know that we're in Czech Republic for my husband's hockey season. In our apartment, I don't really need to do a big "fall cleaning" cuz it's small and we didn't bring much of our personal stuff. My closet is tiny, not kidding you.. But I still wanted to join House of Grace for her fall cleaning segment. Bonnie has amazing cleaning tips and products!! I'm a little late linking up but better than never, right?!

So, I thought I'd show you how I vacuum my dog Shadow lol!!! I started this when she was only 10 weeks old so she got use to it. Now, she loves it! I'm in a constant battle to capture all the dog hair in our apt every day *OCD* haha! It seems that when I vacuum Shadow, it removes most of the hair before it spreads to the floor and furniture. Along with removing excess hair from her coat, it makes her more comfortable. Win ~ Win!

Isn't she cute :)

Your dog is so good :-) That is my worst concern the dog hair from our lab -he was rescued from a shelter as an adult so he would shake if we used a vacuum cleaner on him -but I think you have a great idea -get the hair before it falls and clings to everyhting and your clothes. Too cute -What a fun life you must have Keep us posted on the hockey season stats

OMG, that's awesome!!! My in-laws use the roller lint brush on their cat, but vacuum on the dog is even better! :)

I wish I would have started that with our dog when he was young (he's a newfie/border collie mix and comes with a a LOT of hair) because a few months ago we bought a new pet vacuum cleaner and he HATES it.

And I hear ya on the european closets- if its anything like the apartment we rented for 7 months in Sweden last year it was a struggle to find room for everything and we didn't even have like 1/10 of all of our stuff!

that's hysterical! I love how she just sits there and lets you do that. My lab hates the vacuum more than anything in this world. There is no way she would ever let me do that. (which is why we own 2dyson's and still have dog hair everywhere!) :)

Haha! I love that she just lays there like it's no big thing.

Thanks for following the blog, and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for realizing how important it is to vacuum dogs!!! I have met some of the most impeccably clean people who have dog hair EVERY WHERE. On their furniture, clothes, in their KITCHEN, absolutely everywhere and they say that their dogs are clean so its okay. Definitely one of my biggest pet peeves, especially since I'm allergic to pet hair. So congrats on getting a routine figured out that works well!

This is awesome...my boys would flip out. I did start blow drying them after baths when they were small so they come running when I pull out the hair dryer in the morning

WOW! I tried that with our cats... it used to work a little bit when they were small... now that they're older they just run away when we turn the vacuum on!
