New York City ♥

I've been totally M-I-A! The hubs and I went to New York for a few days. So, I've not spent any time on the computer. This getaway was fun, very last minute and required some spontaneity. Get up and go! The purpose was for a Brooklynite photo/video shoot. It went super well and I'm so proud of my husband!

While in New York, we were able to do some sightseeing and enjoy the city. NY is very dear to my hear because this is where Adam and I got engaged ♥

Because the company lodged us in Staten Island, we took the ferry over to Manhattan. It was great that we got to experience that! Brooklynite took us to dinner at "Angelina's Ristorante" which was delicious! They also sent the hubs and I on a couple's massage at "The Grotto Spa"... That was simply AMAZING. Thank you Brooklynite!!

Can my husband look anymore "tourist" than this lol!!! Love it! He is standing in front of the "One World Trade Center" which is currently being built. This will always be a very sad spot in my mind.

Here I am in one of New York's best kept secret...Century 21. It's a big designer discount department store. I'm holding a pair of "mirror pants"?! NO, I didn't not purchase them. HA!

Now, for the reason we went up North... I was able to snap a few pictures of Adam working on the photo/video shoot. I can't wait to see the end result!!

That night, we rushed back into the city. Time Square is just so BIG and always packed with plenty of people. No matter what time of day it is.

This picture was taken on the 7th floor of the W Hotel in Time Square. You can say it's an upscale kinda place to hang out. On all of our trips to NY, we always check this place out ;)

The hubs getting "street meat" from this vendor.

Our last day in New York, I got to spend a few hours with my dear friend Jolene! She's the one I told you about who was there on a "girls shopping trip". Here we are in the Hard Rock Cafe - Time Square.

Me & Jo
Me, Jo, Mel, Jill

The girls, minus Melanie who was checking out at Sephora, in Time Square!

The hubs and I with Jo!

Our last picture in Time Square before getting on the bus to the airport... Which we almost missed!!! We got at our gate with absolutely no time to spare. Eeeek! That darn Brooklyn Tunnel. Was the closest call I've ever had... But we made it!

Well, farewell for now New York! Until our next adventure ♥
