We woke up and right away Adam suggested that we drive up the Florida coast with our girl Shadow to visit the nation's oldest city. St Augustine is a charming little place with so much history. We were able to visit "Castillo de San Marcos" which is made of coquina, broken sea shells and coral. Pretty cool that the fortress has been around 300 years!
These well-preserved buildings make you feel like you are in another century.
Check out the oldest wood school house in the USA.
While we were walking around, we kept an eye on these dark clouds hanging over us. We could hear the thunder *Eeek* but still no rain...
We took cover under this old hotel patio, cuz we knew that it was just a matter of time.
By the lovely yellow flower, you can tell we got rain. But it didn't last very long at all.
The streets were still filled with people during and after the rain storm.
We had an awesome day with our pup!!! Rain, frizzy hair and all ;)
