MAC E/S

Found this really nice eyeshadow. It's Mink & Sable from MAC Cosmetics and it's a gorgeous gold/brown/green shade. It certainly compliments green eyes. It's super pigmented and blends well. I love it!
I apply this color on my lid and in absolutely no time it's gone. It's called "Claire de Lune" from MAC. Big disappointment cuz it doesn't have any pigmentation to it at all and I would just not recommend it. Sorry MAC!

Hmmm... Perhaps, Donald Duck is happy with the weather lately in Florida, but you can bet Shadow isn't!! I decided to go to the dog park anyways for her to just run around while I took cover under the palm tree entrance. I hope that this storm system goes away soon and not park itself over Florida. Go away rain!!!

Look-A-Like

I keep seeing on Facebook profile pictures of celebrities whom they've been told they looked like. I was never told I looked like any stars. So, you know me... I'm a sucker for these silly results lol!!!! It supposedly scans your face and tells you which celebrities you look most like. Tara Reid & Nicole Richie?! Yeah... Rrrrright.... And Adam? Duran Duran?? Classsssic. Still all kinda funny :)

Super Shape

I'm out of my favorite anti-cellulite cream. This product is amazing. You massage it into your skin where you feel you need it the most everyday after a shower. I use it on my thighs, backside and hips to prevent "booty dimples". I will admit that I don't have a huge cellulite problem. However, I did noticed that my skin felt a lot smoother and tighter. The smell is a bit disgusting which is to bad but I would still definitely recommend this product!

Summary of my day...

You never like to drive up to a seen like this one. I absolutely do NOT understand why they don't put a traffic light?! It's such a dangerous turn onto a 65mph highway. I'm not kidding you, there are several accidents a month here and I would like to see a traffic light.

2010 Winter Olympics

A post in the spirit of the Olympic Games. I'm currently sitting on my couch with my hot chocolate and my dog waiting for the hockey game (U.S. vs Canada) to start. While I wait, I blog... Adam and I were lucky a few years back because we had a former Olympic site located in Lake Placid, New York only an afternoon drive from where we lived. We visited a wide sample of the multi-sport events there. Adam actually trained in Lake Placid for the U.S. World Juniors hockey team. As we walked through some facilities, he would tell me what he remembered. That was cool and cold lol!!! Ok, time to cheer on Team Canada... Sorry babe ;)

Race Week

Fans from all over gathered here last week for the big race. Thought I would show you the Daytona 500 motor-sports decorations in Wal-Mart. Yes.....Wal-Mart!! This took my shopping experience to a whole new level haha!!!

Sushi

Sushi dinner with our pals while Adam was in town. We waited 1:40hrs for our food... Thankfully we had good company and lots of catching up to do to make time go by faster. Starving was an understatement haha!

Five Sweet Days!

Annnnnd.... I'm back! Valentine's Day was really special to me this year because Adam flew home from Czech Republic and we spent 5 days together. Actually, it was the best V-Day ever!! It felt wonderful to reconnect with one another after being apart for 3 months. We spent an evening with friends at a sushi restaurant which was super fun. But mostly hung out with our girl. Family walks along Venetian Bay trails with Shadow at an arm length. She's still in training and constantly tries to pull. Since Adam's internal clock was on Czech time, he got up so early ~ 4:30am. We took advantage of going to the beach early enough to see the gorgeous sunrise 4 days out of 5!!!! So thankful for our time together. Thank you for enduring this mushy post lol!!!! I love that guy so so much ♥

Ohhhhh Delta...

So here's an update for you... Between Adam and I, we spent over 12 hours on the phone yesterday with Delta to try and avoid a New York connection. No success... He finally decided to leave 3 hours earlier to go to the airport in Prague and negotiate, in person, with a Delta agent, what were his options. They weren't cooperative at all. Adam freaked out and all of a sudden they put him on a different flight?!?! Is that really what it's come down to...

Anywho, all excited, he boards his Paris flight and waits forever for people who were late getting to the gate. Adam got in Atlanta with seconds to cross the security/boarder and get to his gate. He asked a Delta agent if they could hold the flight for a few minutes and NOPE..... No can do. What?! So he missed his flight :(

Dear Delta, I'm not happy with the inconsistencies in your procedures. One agent who will wait, another who won't, one agent wants to change you for the change of flight (due to the weather), another that won't... Get on the same page people!

Now, I'm waiting for Adam to call... I pray he gets in today!

100% Precipitation

I don't want to believe this... Tomorrow, Adam flies from Czech to New York and the weather network is calling for a major snowstorm. Record amount of snow. I haven't seen my husband in over 3 months and the day he is scheduled to arrive, they announce delays....NO! I want him to fly into Miami without any interruptions. His Olympic break is short enough as it is. Please please please blizzard GO AWAY!!!!!! I called Delta and there are no other flights. I will be devastated if Adam is delayed :(

Super Bowl Sunday

Can you tell this was taken on Super Bowl Sunday?! We are completely alone at the dog park. Shadow and I played for hours with tennis balls. It was fun and she got so tired :)

How I spent my weekend...

Yesterday, my afternoon consisted of catching up with my browsing. I always try to keep busy busy busy, since Adam is away, so that time goes by fassssssst. Aren't window displays the best! That Harvard t-shirt is cute... So, I walked into MAC Cosmetics and Stephanie, the make-up artist, wasn't busy. She gave me a makeover!! We chatted about eyeshadows, lipsticks and bronzers... T'was fun :)

My friend Amanda is about to give birth! Yahoo... The homestretch is here!! Even from a distance, it's never far from my mind. I'm excited for you Mandy!

Yesterday, I noticed that my semi-permanent brown color had faded a lot. The blonde is making it's way back. I'm thinking I will add more brown cuz I loved it!

The above pic is a gift I got from my girl Kristy. She ordered this MAC pigment combo and she doesn't wear pink so I was just lucky to be around :) It's such a great product!!

Hard to believe that two girls brought the kiddies to Monster Jam haha! This is definitely an event I wouldn't have guessed I'd do... It was fun and LOUD!!!
