One of my favorite shows, this past summer, was Big Brother 11! I fell in love with "in house couple" Jordan & Jeff. I recently read that they are still a couple and that things are going good. Well this week, they both made headlines again.... A guest-starring appearance on "The Bold and the Beautiful". Go-J&J-Go!!!

I also read that "The Real Housewives of NJ" star Teresa Giudice was facing home foreclosure. Well, I guess what I read was wrong and that she's not loosing her dream house. Apparently, it's one of several propertries Teresa owns. Must be nice Lol.....!

Smells good...

My neighbour surprised me with a bottle of Vera Wang perfume!! I was so excited! I tried it on my wrist and waited a few minutes and voila!!! A beautiful smell. Sometimes, the chemical components of some fragrances are not suitable for my skin type. I was pleasantly surprised that this one agreed with me :)

It's a mix of Bulgarian rose, calla lily, mandarin flower, gardenia, white stephanotis, and sheer musk. It's light, floral and very moreish...yup, I'm addicted to the smell. What's your favorite perfume?

Biketoberfesting!

That's right... We went to the motorcycle festival!! It was our 1st time "biketoberfesting". There was thousands of bikes roaring down the street. I couldn't believe my eyes. The smell of endless delicious food choices invaded the air. Adam got a plate....or should I say a hill of food Lol!!! Good live music and plenty of people-watching (good and bad) HA! When it was time to go to the porta potty, Melissa rolled up her jeans cuz the floors were disgusting. Had to take a picture! At one point during the evening, she forgot they were rolled... We had a good laugh :)

Jet Ski..!

Folks, what we have here is a verrrrry happy man. Thanks to the generous time he received from a friend (thankyouthankyouthankyou), he was able to spend time on the water on a JET SKI! Ok, so I know that I'm probably addressing a mostly non-hockey audience here.... However, this did take Adam's mind off of hockey for a few hours. I got a kick out of what you said Errol "the only water you should be on it frozen" LOL... Still very anxious to get assigned to a team! I was glad to see a smile on my husband's face :)

A beautiful day on the water!

Our life kinda feels like it's become a series of check-boxes. Of all the packing and errands to run... the search for the perfect hockey venue. Transferring our life from FL to ?? (change of address, cleaning, etc.), Immigration forms... We are going to become list people... maybe that will help LOL! Okay, enough about that ;)

The month of October, so far, has been pretty dang hot. Adam rented a boat and it was so fun to get to spend the day on the water with him! It was Shadow's 1st time on a boat. She did awesome!! We stopped at the 3 sister islands where other boats had anchored and let their dogs run around in only a few inches of water. Shadow had a blast. On our way back, we saw dolphins. That was amazing! Overall, a great day and it made us want to buy a boat club pass for next summer :)

Well, that's it for tonight. I better get to bed so I can get back to my "list" in the morning :)

It's fun, challenging, relaxing... It's golf!

An evening spent in a joyful round of golf!!! While my husband was enjoying the last few hours of golf, I had fun taking pictures and eating sunflower seeds! Adam played the back nine first... We got to one of the hardest holes on the course and he hit a super solid shot then BANG!!!! He hit a house! "Oups, my bad": he said. Good thing it was the roof and not a window.

October 1st

I am trying to catch up on my blogging, as you can tell... Last week, on Sept 30th, Adam got released from his hockey team. BOO! It was bitter sweet. I was so very happy to see him, however that meant that his agent needed to keep at it and find him another job.

So, I'm about to go pick him up at the airport... with Shadow of course :)

I ♥ Palm Trees

I can't remember if I ever blogged this before... I love palm trees!! There is something about their tropical-ness (if that's even a word) haha! Having lived in Canada my whole life, we didn't have palms around. It's been a treat to have one growing right in my front yard.

Last week, I decided to take a picture with it. Yes, I'm a nerd like that sometimes LOL...!!! I think you can tell that I was starting to get bored and missed my husband while he was away :)

T-Storms...?

Florida weather in October has been incredible so far! Still very warm for swimming at the beach. Every day when I check the forecast, it always says "thunder storms" but we very rarely get them (knock on wood). The rainy season here is usually over by the beginning of October, and the temperatures start to drop. However, this year is different and October has been pleasantly warm. We'll take it!

These above pictures were taken last week when Adam was still in training camp. Shadow is one week shy of 11 months!! :)

Just another day...

...at the dog park! Adam and I keep telling our dog: "you don't know how good you have it" lol! It was 2 hours of fun fun fun for Shadow as she played with her toys and friends. Oh, she saw a big turtle for the 1st time. It was funny because I thought for sure she would have flipped out but nope.... She didn't care for the turtle at all haha!!!
