Our travels ~ Part 1

So... things have been great on our cross-country travels. I like to thank mother nature for the wonderful weather. Simply amazing!! We've been kickin' it in Holyoke, MA. Yesterday, we got away for a little bit to go hiking with Shadow. I've posted pics on Windows Live. Today, we managed to fit EVERYTHING in the U-Haul. Wow...pretty fantastic. Tomorrow, it's part 2 of our long trip "home". We are looking forward to this second part :) :) :) Anyway, that's about it from here. Gonna have a good night sleep and hit the road in the morning. Shadow has been doing amazing on this roadtrip!!! What a good dog! We had amazing weather and it's been a fun trip. Now, we will relax with the Pineault's for a few days. We plan to hit the road for the bigger part of our trip on Tuesday morning. We are so excited to get HOME!!!!!

Roadtrip...

Hi all!! Well, I just wanted to write up a quick blog to say that tomorrow morning we start making our way HOME to Florida!!! We packed the U-Haul and cleaned today. Wow, I feel like we moved a lot since September 08'. Moving into our home will be move #7 for us....crazy! We are pretty much like Master Black Belts when it comes to moving haha. I'm off to bed. Nite Nite!

A full-basket of many Easter friends, now where's Shadow among the group? I know, it's difficult as she is well hidden LOL... Adam's idea of a little joke :)

Well if you come visit the Pineault's, don't be surprise to find Shadow's teeth laying around haha. She's been loosing them left and right. I picked her up the other day and pop goes a tooth. When does this stop? HA! Did you know that Sharks grow a new set of teeth every two weeks to replace worn teeth?!? Yikes.

Ahhhh....the dog park. Adam and I have been going to the dog park quite frequently, spending lots of hours there, but who knew you could meet such great people. Recently, we met Sara, Tim and Harley. Shadow and Harley played so well together! Harley is a white German Shepherd mixed with a Husky. He's gorgeous! Today, Harley gave Shadow nice doggie tags (above pic). So cute!! Thanks Harley xo

p.s. You may start to notice that the quality of some photos on here have improved a bit, because Adam got a new camera and he's getting real comfortable with it!! Enjoy :)

Easter Blog.....a lil late!

Easter has come and gone and I haven't had a chance to blog about it... We had a family day (Adam, Shadow and I) at the dog park. It was a wonderful and great day! We were certainly ready for sleep, Easter night, when our heads hit the pillows with all this fresh air.

Adam and I got spoiled with a basket full of goodies from Mr & Mrs Bales along with a thoughtful card from my parents. Thank you!!! Reflecting on moments like this makes you realize how loved and blessed we are. Hope you all had a great one too!

Happy birthday to my wonderful mom!!! "Whistles & Hollers" to one of the most loving and supporting person in my life. No one gets as excited for me about things as my mom does - she is selfless and will do anything to be there for you when you need it. Even when you don't think you need it, haha! B-day Greetings!

Happy birthday to my looooooong time friend Andrée!!! I met her years and years ago when my dad got a transfer from Montreal to Richibucto, New Brunswick. We were in grade 2! Andrée would make me talk endlessly because she enjoyed my "Quebec accent" haha! She is one of my favorite sing-in-the-car friend..... and sing-in-the-school-bus (which we would get in trouble). Ohhh, the concerts we'd have. The harmonies (ha!). You know you've found a good friend when you can let go of all inhibitions and belt your heart out to old school Tiffany ~ "I think we're alone now"....1987. Although, the best was when we thought we were in "Dirty Dancing"....or even better "Grease"! What great times... Andrée, wishing you are wonderful day! I'm sure your lovely family spoiled you ;) xo

A second blog today

We had a booster club party this week. Adam and Jimmy got the BFF award hahaha... They got "best friend" chains as a joke. It was quite funny! Adam received the above pictures.

This week, Shadow's bff Saki got the "big operation". She saw him outside and totally went nuts, crying & barking. Here she is staring at him....cute!

Power on!

I'm baaaaaack! I've been without power for the last few days due to a little boo-boo that our apartment complex did.. But it's all good now! I find it real crazy how out of touch I felt without internet and cable?! Is that a bad thing? Adam and I couldn't watch the premier of our favorite show "Rescue Me"...couldn't check email, facebook, twitter. Also, I missed "Dancing with the Stars". I wonder who got eliminated from the competition? I know, I know!! Craaaaaazy :) But on the flip side, it was fun and I must say relaxing!

Well... Our little girl Shadow is now a BIG girl. She got her rabies shot last week. Here she is at the vet clinic, waiting. At 20 weeks, she weighed in a whooooping 47 lbs!!!!! She's doing wonderful and loosing teeth left and right haha... It's her graduation tonight at Pet Smart! She did 100% on her report card....yay!

It's Thuuuuursday!

Ok, I had to just post a little something here today... Adam and I are really loving beach art!! It works well for our home in Florida. We've recently won a King Canopy Bedroom set on eBay only to find out it was a scam! The seller wanted to get paid without using PayPal.....BIG NO NO!

Happy first retired week to my parents :) Cheers to them! They are off to beautiful British Columbia next week. Let the traveling begin. Yahoooooo!!! Can't wait to see you guys in Flo-ri-daaaaaa.

I don't want to overstep the cheesy line here, going on and on and on about how much I love my husband, but I would like to say Happy 8 little months of married life to us on March 31st!! xoxox

In other news, Adam is doing well! Except yesterday he got his nice new suit jacket stolen at the restaurant. It had my iPod in his pocket along with his tie. Who would want to take that?!? At first, I thought it was an April Fool's day joke... But now, it's April 2nd and the jacket didn't make it's way back to the bus to Syracuse. It was Adam's favorite suit :(
